'Deuteria' Kathrin Kühnhammer did it!!!

PhD defense: check!

How can the water uptake depths of trees be measured? - Kathrin Kühnhammer dealt with this topic for about 5 years in her doctoral thesis “Uncovering the dynamics of tree root water uptake with in situ isotope techniques”. On July 9, Dr. Kühnhammer was the first graduate from the Isodrones group to defend her doctoral thesis - and with flying colors: Deuteria -as we call her - received a “summa cum laude” (“passed with distinction”) for her work! Well deserved! Jeeehaaaw!! We wish Kathi all the best for her future!

What a pretty hat she got!!! Including a mini-Picarro analyzer ;)
