CODE RED funded by DFG!

Can we measure hydraulic redistribution via plant roots with transient geophysical (and water isotope) methods? –> after encouraging first results from urban environments, we are about to find that out! We just got funded our little project “CODE RED - Demystification of hydraulic redistribution” by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - German Research Foundation and as reported last week, the crew is already in the field. Apparently, our research is interesting to the local fauna ;)
